Join Newark in celebrating its birthday at this year's 69th Annual Newark Days Celebration Thursday, September 19th through Sunday, September 22nd.  Newark Days is a four-day festival held every September to commemorate the City's birthday. The festival features a variety of attractions under this year's theme, 'Let the Games Begin'.

Festivities include a parade, the Newark Mile Race, a carnival, car show, arts & crafts trade fair, community information fair, and stage performances. The parade takes place on Saturday, September 21st, kicking-off at 10:00 am from Newark Blvd. and Thornton Avenue, traveling down Thornton Avenue and making a right onto Cedar Blvd. and ending up in front of the Newark Community Center.
