There are many fun activities to do and places to visit in Newark. Click on one of the links below to find out more information.
Visit one of the many Citywide Parks or City facilities such as the Clark W. Redeker Newark Senior Center, the Newark Community Center, or the ever popular George M. Silliman Community Activity Center where you can enjoy swimming, playing basketball, exercise in the fitness room or visit with friends in the teen center, or simply enjoying a delicious snack available at Otter Alley! You can even sign-up for one of numerous classes offered through our Recreation Department View Activities and Register for Classes.
Do you have some spare time and enjoy helping others? Then why not volunteer? The City of Newark is always looking for volunteers to assist in many of the programs and services the City provides. Volunteering.
Another fun place to visit is the Newark Library or the NewPark Mall where you can enjoy eating, shopping, and entertainment.
