Mission
To secure and foster the ethical and proactive management of all of the City's finances while supporting the City Council, community, and staff in a prompt and courteous manner.
In 1994, in order to address the City's overall changes, the City began its first formal strategic planning process. Under City Council direction, the City's Vision and Mission Statements were developed. Following the development of the statements was the creation of a five-year strategic plan that included key issues which represented significant policy areas that the City wanted to address and action plans that had measurable goals and objectives. From the Five-Year Forecast comes the City's ability to devise strategies and action items to obtain the City's vision while remaining fiscally responsible.
