The City of Newark Community Development Department is seeking an experienced and qualified professional firm to assist the City in developing a first-time homebuyer down payment assistance program, providing technical assistance for the development of program guidelines for deed-restricted below-market rate (BMR) homeownership units, and program administration, including asset management activities such as monitoring and ensuring compliance with affordable homeownership deed restrictions.
The City will held a question-and-answer meeting regarding this RFP on Friday, July 12, at 10:00 a.m. via Zoom. This was an optional meeting to speak to city staff and our consultant team, who are knowledgeable about the RFP and the proposed programs.
