Permit Fees
The permit fee for a single trip is $16 and must begin and end within seven days from the date of issuance as specified on the permit. An annual permit can be obtained for a fee of $90 and is valid for one year from the date of issuance. Annual permits can apply to multiple vehicles, but only one vehicle can be in use within the City's jurisdiction at any given time.
Truck Routes
The truck route for the extra legal load must be specified on a single trip permit. Designated truck routes must be used to the extent possible. Review the City's Truck Route Map (PDF).
Proof of Financial Responsibility (Insurance)
All permits require proof of financial responsibility. This is most easily accomplished by providing a copy of a standard Certificate of Insurance of at least $1,000,000 in General Liability.
