The City has recently embarked on the first ever Facilities Master Plan project (the "Plan"). The Plan will serve as a usable "blueprint" to City Council, consultants, and the various City Departments for the future growth and maintenance of City facilities. 

In November 2022, the City contracted with Group 4 Architecture, Research + Planning to develop the Plan. The first phase of the community engagement is complete. Thank you to those community members who participated in the pop-up engagement activities and/or the online survey.

The first phase included hearing from the community on the type of spaces you wanted to see in Newark.

During the second phase, we will review the results and explore options for meeting those space needs.
